Selling on ebay

Selling on ebay proved to be one of my most successful business. Few years back, a good friend of mine told me about ebay. He was doing quite well and making good income at that time and he encourages me to try. I did just that!

Selling on ebay for beginner can be very tough. There are lots of things to learn. From sourcing products to listing, selling and shipping, you have to know everything! I begin by reading books about 'selling on ebay'. One advantage of selling on ebay is that you can work from the comfort of your home.

Ebay has changed quite a lot from the time I started selling. The world's biggest online auction site is getting crowded and competition is fierce. There are more sellers than ever before and profit is dwindling. Selling on ebay is less attractive now as compare to few years back.
Other than intense competition, ebay has increased their 'fees' many times. (You need to pay 'listing fee' and 'final value fee' when you sell on ebay). Another cost to consider is 'Paypal fee'. (Fee to pay when you receive payment)

So much to pay and so little return, maybe the time is right to leave ebay and starts searching for another business opportunity.
